![]() Whippoorwill Aristocrat is a beautiful and kind stallion who exudes style, ability and substance. He exemplifies the "Historically Correct Morgan" that McCulloch Farm/
has been breeding since 1945.
|
“Cat” has at least one champion on every line of his pedigree for eight generations. They were champions of everything that Morgans do; from racing and cutting to park horses, competitive trail and dressage. |
Mary Jean Vasiloff bred him to be a breeding stallion and continue the solid and successful lines of sport and using Morgans throughout the History of the breed. |
Cat is a classically bred Morgan Stallion with a history of athletically bred horses in every line of his pedigree. Cat has five crosses to Jubilee King, and one of the few stallions in the country with a tail male line to the great Whippoorwill Duke and his sire, Squire Burger. With additional Working Western bloodlines through his damsire, Blackwood Correll, Cat has a pedigree that complements any breeding program looking to a Sport Morgan. |
In June of 2007, after a successful spring/early summer of showing at Third Level in Open USDF Competition with his trainer, Cathy Echternach, I brought Cat home. He and I are currently training with Susan Gustafson, of Millwood, VA as well as local clinics with outside trainers. |
In addition to schooling at dressage 2-3 days a week I have incorporated jumping and weekly trail rides with my friend Margaret and one of her mares. As a testament to Cat’s outstanding temperament and focus on the task at hand he will go out with the mares even when they are in season and barely cast them a look. |
It is delightful to have him home. I enjoy riding and working with him. His athleticism and training have helped me with my greener horses. His foals are correct, three excellent gaits and tractable, willing minds. |
